We know that Thanksgiving is near and many have been looking forward to Christmas for a long time, however, the folks that came out last night to Turner's had only dancing on their minds. And what a great sound we had for dancing. Sam King was in perfect pitch and Vikki Casey and Lisa Conrad showed us some new talents we didn't see before last night.
We were also blessed to have one of the contestants from the X Factor, Emily Demron, with her rendition of "Miss Otis Regrets" by Cole Porter. If you haven't been to one of our shows in a while, please don't miss out on another this year. We will be performing at Camelot Ballroom on Friday Dec. 12th from 8-11pm and that next Friday, December 19th at Turner's German American Hall from 7-10pm. It will be a Christmas Ball to remember at both venues.
Did I fail to mention we brought back "The Wobble" to our line dance mix. It was a great time and many of our new dancers were able to get the steps down to "The Candyman". Both intermissions were filled to the brim with wonderfully energetic line dancers. I heard one gentleman say "What are you trying to do? Wear us out?" We are here for you and the more fun you have, the more people hear about the great times and they want to share in that experience. Wouldn't you agree?
Keep those toes a Tappin'
We had the best time at Camelot on the 24th. Can't wait to see you November 21st at Turner's German American Hall. We have many memories to be thankful for, and plan to share those songs with you!
Keep those toes tappin!
Our October Spooktacular was a great dance party. Of course Colonel Sanders won the best costume for the night. Midnight Blue Orchestra will be at Camelot this Friday, October 24th with a great lineup of music for your dancing pleasure.
We still have three more shows this year, so try to make at least two before our new season begins. We will have a calendar of events for Turner's German American Hall soon, however you can pencil in Camelot Ballroom for 2015.
Thanks for the Memories!!!

Glad everyone enjoyed the polka night. Time to get back to swing and the twist. We also have some new dates for Camelot in 2015. Check out the best band playing at Camelot

See you at Turner?s and Camelot in October
Looks like we will be back at Camelot the 24th of October and the 12th of December. A whole lot of music going on!!!
See you Soon!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Awesome job last Saturday!
As many of you know, we had several wonderful comments from dancers and Wade.
Some told me things like "we could hardly find a parking place", "You packed the place",
"This is the most we've ever had here", and "You're the best band Camelot has brought to this dance club".
Everyone had superb vocal parts. I feel so fortunate to have such great singing talent in MBO. And Bryon did an amazing job of making our sound BIG for that big room. Everyone will remember how much fun they had on Aug. 16th at Camelot.
Wade wanted to make sure he got us on his November and December calendar for some Saturday nights at Camelot. We are working out the details.
Next show is the Oktoberfest on September 19th at Turner?s German American Hall. Hope to see all our dancers there. Randy has written instrument parts for all polkas so they will sound even more awesome. Kudos to Randy for his extra effort (applause please).
Enjoy our little break. As the song goes......"See you in September....."
